Majority of Catholics call for the Church to change its approach to LGBT young people

Review the press conference – leaded by EqualFuture2018 Cammini di Speranza and the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics – that presented the results of a survey conducted around the world between Catholics and the general population on the role of the Catholic Church towards people and LGBT issues (English from Minute 7:00).

The polling, carried out by YouGov for the Equal Future 2018 Campaign, was conducted in the world’s eight largest Catholic countries: Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, Philippines, United States, France, Spain and Italy. Collectively these countries comprise half of the world’s total population of baptized Catholics.
