In this edition of The Corner, we invite you on a journey of reflection, celebration, and action as we highlight stories, initiatives, and voices from our global LGBT+ faith communities. This issue is a testament to the resilience, creativity, and solidarity that defines our network.
We begin by introducing GNRC’s new Strategy Plan, a roadmap for the years ahead. This plan focuses on key projects like the Accompaniment Project, Diversity and Equality initiatives, and youth engagement, all aimed at fostering inclusion and empowerment in faith spaces worldwide.

Alongside this, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of regional blogs on the GNRC website—dedicated spaces for each region to showcase their unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs.
From the Asia Pacific region, we revisit the groundbreaking Catholic conference on LGBT+ and faith held in Pune, India, a historic moment of dialogue and inclusion. We also reflect on the Suyaquiqui Advent gathering in Iberoamerica, a beautiful celebration of faith and cultural diversity that bridges connections across geographical boundaries.
In our “African Corner,” we bring you the voices of resilience from the African LGBT+ community, highlighting their struggles and unwavering determination in the face of profound challenges. Stories like John’s, a man navigating his faith and identity, remind us of the courage it takes to live authentically.
We also spotlight upcoming milestones for GNRC, including the 5th Assembly in Madrid this August, where we’ll reflect on the post-Synodal challenges and embrace intergenerational dialogue within our communities. Additionally, we look ahead to the Jubilee Pilgrimage in Rome in September 2025, a moment of unity and spiritual renewal for participants from diverse faith backgrounds.
Finally, we highlight two calls to action:
- GNRC’s donation appeal, an opportunity to support initiatives that foster inclusion and love in our Church.
- DignityUSA’s One Family Fund, providing essential aid to LGBT+ Catholics facing persecution and discrimination worldwide.
Through these stories, we are reminded of the beauty of diversity and the power of faith to unite us. We hope this edition inspires you to reflect, connect, and take action within your own communities.
Together, we can continue building bridges of understanding, compassion, and love.
