Christmas teaches us to find God incarnate in the places and people most disdained and overlooked. From the very beginning, the story of Christ’s birth points us toward the margins, toward humility, vulnerability, and surprising grace. For centuries, LGBT+ people have been among those pushed aside, silenced, or forgotten.

Yet every day, LGBT+ people bring light, joy, faith, and love to our communities, our world, and our Church. Your lives, relationships, courage, and witness continue to reveal God’s presence in ways that transform hearts and renew hope. This Christmas, we celebrate you as Divine Light and Everlasting Hope, the real presence of God among us.

To our GNRC family and friends, near and far, we wish you a wonderful Christmas. May the light of Christ shine brightly in your hearts and in the hearts of your loved ones, as we rejoice in the miracle of His birth and in the gift of God’s love.

As we look ahead to a new year, we do so with hope, peace, and joy, trusting that our shared work for the community is for the greater glory of God. Together, we continue to build a Church where all are welcomed, affirmed, and loved, and where no one is invisible.

May you and yours have a joyous and peace-filled Christmas season.

Prayers and blessings to all.
