Sometimes, the conversation about LGBTIQ Catholics is framed as a problem to be solved. Francis reminds us that the Church’s mission is nearness, not problem-solving. To be close, to accompany, to defend dignity… this is Gospel work. No one is outside God’s embrace, and neither should they be outside ours.
