Leo XIII said that truth without charity becomes harshness. Charity without truth becomes weakness. In conversations around LGBTIQ inclusion, we carry his words close. We need truth to name discrimination and harm. But we need charity so dialogue doesn’t become a weapon. Holding both is our challenge, and our path.
