My overall impression of the conference is overwhelmingly positive, It was a truly unforgettable, life-changing experience filled with grace and profound meaning in my life. I felt deeply fortunate to be among people of such remarkable integrity and spiritual strength. It was a gathering of passionate advocates and devoted believers of the church.
Each day began and concluded with heartfelt invocations to God, This moved me most profoundly because, despite being rejected by the institutional church, these individuals remained steadfast in their faith in Jesus Christ.
To be true, everyone made an impact and so impressed me. However, since you’ve asked me to be specific, I was particularly struck by Victoria’s presentation of accounts. The precision, transparency, and confidence with which she shared her testimony was remarkable. Her ability to present and address the audience regarding the accounts is praiseworthy.
I am now committed to working diligently towards inclusion, recognition, respect and full acceptance of this community within the church. This experience has strengthened my commitment to advocate for justice.
It is time for the church to regret and repent for the crime done to the LGBT+ community and embrace them as God’s children who are capable to spreading the good news to the people they encounter.
